MindPlay T.E.A.M.™: FLRT® allows students to practice fluent reading and reading comprehension.  Fluency is the ability to read text quickly, accurately and with good comprehension.  This system trains students to process words from left to right efficiently. Students quickly move from word recognition to reading comprehension to reading fluency.

Students optionally practice with either decodable or authentic text.  Both expository and narrative passages are included. Up to eighteen different reading comprehension skills are tested including: main idea, drawing conclusions, author's purpose, and context clues.    Reports highlight student progress for a grade, class, or an individual student. Students should be fluent with decoding and phonics before using MindPlay T.E.A.M.™: FLRT®.
