The KNFB Basic Reader Package, configured by ATR, includes knfbReader Mobile Software, cell phone, carrying case, and installation.

The KNFB Mobile Reader Software is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) TTS (Text to Speech) Symbian application. The application enables the camera to take pictures of printed material, convert the image into text, and read the text aloud. The software runs on a multifunction cell phone which allows the user to read mail, receipts, handouts and many other documents wherever the user happens to be. The Mobile Reader Product Line from knfbReading Technology, Inc., is a major advancement in portability and functionality of print access for blind, vision impaired and those with reading difficulties. This is a truly pocket-size solution to reading on the go.
