Zoom-Office software supports our Zoom-Ex device, an instant scanner/reader with real-time magnification for the blind and visually- impaired.

| 2. Double click on the Zoom-Office disk icon on the desktop | |

| 5. Drag the Zoom-Ex icon from Applications to Tool Bar (optional) | |
| To reinstall: | 1. Delete (the Zoom-Ex application from the Applications Directory and the Zoom-Ex icon from the Tool Bar (if you put it there) |

| Launching: | Once the Application has been installed, launch it from the Applications directory or from the Tool Bar. |
| Functionality: | Instant reader, scanner and magnifier with the ability to save an entire book as an audio file in MP3 format. Please refer to the Zoom-Ex / Zoom- Office Training Guide and User Manual Release 4.2.0 for complete Zoom-Ex functionality. |
| Troubleshooting: | Potential problem: The camera stopped working and/or the Application freezes. Solution: Restart the application by selecting the Application icon from the Tool Bar. Potential problem: The camera stopped working while scanning documents in a book (Auto scanning mode or Manual mode). Solution: Move your hand slowly over the text, and the camera will resume scanning or if needed, restart the application. Potential problem: The Zoom-Ex camera stopped working when switching from Magnification mode to Reading mode and back again (Y key) Solution: Restart the application. |
