Testimonials

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Adaptive Technology Resources and services from Nick Hanford. As a Special Education Director, it was our goal as a district to increase the utilization of technology, specifically assistive technology for our students with disabilities, and increase student independence in the classroom or educational setting. Nick assisted in the development of our technology labs, providing specific suggestions to maximize the potential of student learning. He also provided training for staff and students, educating them in the use of technology and possibilities for student independence.

I'm writing this letter to let you know how impressed we are with the product and services you deliver. We are a small, rural district in Northeastern Wisconsin. Having only one elementary, middle, and high school, we look for flexibility in our purchases, and try to get the most for each dollar spent. In the past year (2009/2010), we purchased the Kurzweil program and Classroom Suites from ATR, along with the training packages. We are so pleased.

It is a pleasure to work with Adaptive Technology Resources. They have been very responsive to our needs. This was a large endeavor for the district and the ATR staff was very helpful throughout the planning, ordering, installation, orientation and training of staff. I was able to talk through the plans and ask for advice from their experienced staff.

I wanted to take the time to give praise to Adaptive Technology Resources and especially Phil Dellegrazio. I have been working with Phil for many years and have found him to be knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all professional. Phil takes great pride in offering state-of-the-art equipment with customer satisfaction guaranteed. He presents with genuine concern for the client, examining the need, never trying to sell unnecessary merchandise. Phil pays great attention to detail and goes to great lengths to get correct answers. Whether through phone, voicemail, or email, he is always available and has impeccable follow through. I can rest assured that Phil will get the job done right and in a timely manner. He has excellent rapport with our Veterans served. Phil has been exceptional and is a pleasure to work with.

Sincerely,

We have been very pleased with the training ATR has provided. . . . . . ATR's primary trainer (Nick Hanford) is an effective instructor and brings his experience as a Kurzweil user himself.
Our support for ATR is without reservation . . . Read More

I got the sense that they were a company that listened to what a prospective client (whether that was an individual or an agency) needed, was able to identify specific issues that needed to be addressed, had significant experience working with adults and students, employed staff that had experienced learning difficulties and had utilized assistive technology to compensate for deficits and did not indicate a concern for us being 6-7 hours away . . .

Their trainer is young man who had a severe reading deficit and had used assistive technology to graduate from a Wisconsin university with honors and continues to utilize it in the completion of his professional responsibilities. His hands on approach and willingness to share his struggles and experiences while in college helped the staff get excited about utilizing this new medium . . . Read More

"I would like to pass on my reactions to the seminar that Nick ran Tuesday. In all my years of going to in-services, training seminars, and such, I have never been as impressed with an instructor as I was with Nick. And the seminar itself taught me more than I ever would have thought possible in an 8 hour time period. Nick knows Kurzweil 3000 inside and out and it certainly shows in his presentation and answering of questions. There is no doubt in my mind that I will purchase this..."
